Ex-storekeeper’s death sentence for strangling girlfriend commuted to 30 years' jail

PUTRAJAYA, April 30 — The Federal Court has commuted the death sentence of a former storekeeper to 30 years in jail for strangling his girlfriend with her headscarf almost 16 years ago.
